As behavior analysts, we are part of an incredible community that, historically, operates individually. Even within an agency model, you are likely to be the only BCBA assigned to a case. If operating as an independent practitioner, you likely feel even more isolated without the constructs of an inner network. Yet, how could this be if there are more BCBAs now than ever before and the field continues to grow at a rapid pace? 

Real talk? We're not actively connecting with each other in a meaningful way. There are a number of theories for why this may be but the most important factor is that we can change it! Here are 3 steps you can take:

Step 1: Participate in the monthly sessions that will be held live on Zoom. Share your unique skills, interests, and talents so we can build a network of specialists to learn from, find support in, and confidently refer to. If you would like to be notified prior to each meeting, sign up here.

Step 2: Complete the Networking & Referral survey here. This survey captures information you would like to share about your services as well as what you would like to gain from this group. Your responses will be added to our networking and referral catalog.

Step 3: Participate in online discussions in our Facebook group Independent BCBA Business Support. If you have a question then it is likely another has the same question too! Help your fellow BCBA by seeking the information you need and offering the information you have. It's a win-win!
